Angela Crist serves as the CEO of Hope House.  Her focus is developing relationships with community partners and ensuring the long term stability of Hope House.  Angela has been involved with the Hancock County United Way Community Services Committee, the Hancock Leadership Alumni Association and several area nonprofit boards. She holds a BS in Business Administration from The University of Dayton and a MA in American Culture Studies from Bowling Green State University. She joined Hope House in 2013.

Sue Lehman was one of the original SSI OH Pilot Project specialists who began in 2009. Prior to joining the Hope House staff in 2009, she held a number of local & national leadership positions with various companies. For over 20 years, Sue also helped these companies develop & facilitate best practice strategies. Hope House is privileged to have her as the Program Director.

Barb Faber joined Hope House Housing Office in 2002 as an Americorps Member with the Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio. Barb was hired in 2003 as the Hope House Housing Assistant. She served as the Housing Manager of the Hope House Housing Office in 2004. Since late 2004, Barb became the Independence Case Manager. Before joining Hope House, Barb was an Americorps Member for WSOS Community Action Commission in Tiffin Ohio. Barb has served on the Mental Health and Recovery Service Board in Seneca County. Barb also has been a volunteer for the Black Swamp Raptor Rehab Center in Hancock County since 1989 serving on the board and as secretary.

Starr Sears joined the Hope House team in October 2013.  She has occupied the Case Management position within Hope House’s ABLE program. This particular program is geared toward providing permanent supportive housing for individuals who are homeless and disabled. While in this role Starr strives to ensure success and compliance of the program while working with each individual she serves.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from The University of Findlay and anticipates utilizing her skills to aid the homeless population in Hancock County.

Laurie Casati has joined the Hope House team as the SSI Ohio Project Specialist. Laurie will represent and advocate for individuals in Hancock, Seneca, and wood counties (including Fostoria)who are homeless, or at imminent risk of being homeless in their search for SSI or SSDI benefits. Laurie brings her many years of working with individuals in the mental health community to the position. Laurie is passionate about maintaining the vision and dedication that this position requires.

Carol joined the Hope House staff in November 2013 as the Bridges Out of Poverty Coordinator. She became a Certified Bridges Trainer April of 2013 and enjoys speaking to community organizations. Carol brings her own personal experiences from growing up middle class in a two parent home to living in situational poverty. She is a single mother of three girls and also a very proud grandmother. In her spare time Carol and the two younger girls like to explore museums and art galleries. Her favorite quote is by Martin Luther King Jr: “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”

Judy Pusateri joined Hope House as the Development Coordinator in 2015. After spending 15 years in the banking and mortgage industry, Judy decided that it was time to embrace her passion for helping others and supporting a need in our community. Judy is responsible for the development of community relationships for Hope House, working with partners, donors and volunteers to increase awareness of and support for the organization.

Nancy joined the Hope House staff in November 2010 after more than ten years as secretary/receptionist at the United Way of Hancock County. Before that, her experience included working for an accounting firm, a rubber manufacturing company and the university. Her education in social work and psychology fueled her interest in the welfare of the impoverished and the hope for a better tomorrow for those wrestling with issues that need to be addressed. Nancy is the first point of contact for those calling or visiting the Hope House shelter.
