Sharing the Season of Hope

Again this year, Hope House is looking for sponsors to help families in need at Christmas.

Individuals, organizations and groups are invited to help make this holiday special for a Hancock County family by donating wrapped or unwrapped gifts for a family rebuilding from homelessness or experiencing an unexpected crisis.

Sponsors are provided with a list of brief family biographies to choose from, that includes family size, circumstances and wish list.

All families are either transitioning from homelessness in a Hope House program or are experiencing an unexpected emergency such as job loss, fire, family death or medial issue.

How to Sponsor a Family

  • Contact Sunny Davis at or 419-427-2848 to select a family to sponsor
  • Deliver gifts to Hope House at The Family Center, Ste. 106
  • Drop off 8 am – 5 pm, October 16 thru December 15
  • Moms and dads enjoy wrapping if you’d like to include paper for unwrapped gifts
