Third Party Fundraisers

Get together with your friends and family and raise money for a good cause! This is a wonderful way to support Hope House while having a blast at the same time.

Here are some ideas:

Motorcycle Runs
Get together with your buddies and charge them an entry fee to ride together around town, raising awareness and enjoying the fresh air.

Car shows
Show off your sweet ride to your neighbors and friends and charge an entry fee for people to attend.

Shopping for a Cause
Connect with your favorite local vendors and ask them to donate a portion of their sales to Hope House. Then round up all of your friends and have them shop ’til they drop.

Parties for a Purpose
Having a birthday and not sure what you want? Have guests donate to Hope House in lieu of gifts. Invite your friends and family to a fun shindig and ask that they bring a donated wish list item or cash donation to get in the door.

Golf Outings
What better way to give back than by enjoying a gorgeous day on the green?

Donation Drives

One of the easiest ways you can help the residents and families we assist at Hope House is by holding a donation drive for our wish list items.

The list is updated regularly, but if you have questions or would like to collect specific items, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Take your donation drive to the next level, by throwing a party and asking guests to bring an item or a cash donation to attend!

STRETCH YOUR DONATION WITH CASH!

Not sure what to give? Cash donations stretch your donor dollar by purchasing the items we need at that time (such as size 2 diapers), while also buying in bulk at a reduced price.

“Because of the help I received, I was able to break the cycle of homelessness that had become our way of life.”

Xavier and his son, Anthony, were living in a friend’s truck. Xavier was battling health issues leaving him unable to work. Anthony was enrolled in high school online, so the truck had to be parked somewhere close to free Wi-Fi so Anthony would not fall behind. They were accepted into the Able program in April 2020 and in June a one-bedroom apartment became available. They were thankful to have it. Xavier slept in a recliner in the living room allowing Anthony to sleep in the bedroom. After a time, Xavier’s health began to improve and he started working again. Soon another apartment, two bedrooms, became available. Xavier’s health continued to improve and he was able to begin working full-time. Anthony graduated from high school, enrolled in college and works full time at the same company as his father. Xavier loves his job and is back to working on his goals. Most importantly, they have signed a lease for a new apartment and, because of the progress they have made, they have successfully exited the Able program.
