Angie is a domestic violence survivor and single mother of two children under the age of 3. She came to Hope House in tears because she needed help securing a new place to live. With her two young children and minimal income, Angie qualified for the Rapid Rehousing Program, a rental assistance program for individuals and families who are literally homeless. With Hope House’s assistance, and the guidance of her case manager, Angie was able to find an apartment to call home. She also found a better paying job that provides training and offers tuition reimbursement. With this new job and training, Angie is now well on her way to a career helping individuals overcome substance abuse.

Angie says, “I am grateful for Hope House because now I can provide the life my kids deserve while giving back to the community.”
